COBOL Programmer (IDMS) - Resourcesoft, Inc.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience in Mainframe programming, MVS COBOL, and JCL.

• Proficiency in IDMS/Network and IDMS relational databases.

• Experience with CA-ADS.

• Experience in debugging, unit testing, and integration testing.

• Experience with supporting quality assurance activities.

• Experience with ChangeMan, SAS, and File-AID.

Responsibilities

• Develop coding changes to COBOL and CA-ADS programs using IDMS databases.

• Debug, unit test, and integration test coding changes.

• Support quality assurance activities, including QA and user acceptance testing.

• Maintain and enhance mission-critical Medicaid IT systems.

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure system reliability.

• Participate in rotational on-call duties for production support.

• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, both written and verbally.
