We are currently recruiting for Head of Home Environment Services purpose is to be strategically responsible for the Housing Environment Assessment and Response Team (HEART) and Home Improvement Team (HEART)

Responsible and accountable for the effective management of the HEART service under the Direction of the Governance Board, intervening, taking action and giving instruction. Ensuring full and effective support from host and partner support services working with heads of service and Directors as necessary.

A key requirement of the role is overall responsibility for the management and service delivery in respect of the HEART Service as specified in the Housing Service Specification Matrix.

To represent the Service and Governance Board and Assistant Director for Strategic Housing at meetings creating and maintaining links with relevant external organisations and presenting a positive image of the host and partner Councils and Service.

Working with Service Governance Board to develop and implement strategic direction and to ensure the Service achieves excellence in its services to its customers, both internal, partner organisations and external.

You will be required to hold full membership of a professional institute relevant to at least one of the services provided by the Service and a professional qualification in a relevant technical field at Bachelor's

Degree / NVQ level 6 or equivalent.
