About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Working Student (Werkstudent*in) to support our growing team in Europe. In this role, you’ll contribute to marketing campaigns, social media, events, and content creation that help us build awareness, engage students and universities, and strengthen Handshake’s brand in the European market.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels

• Support with product launches and communicating feature updates to our partners

• Help drive engagement with our brand new feature launch, the Handshake feed, amongst our Gen Z audience

• Assist with content creation (social media posts, blogs, email newsletters, and presentations)

• Help grow our social media presence (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok)

• Conduct market and competitor research to support marketing strategy

• Assist with the organisation and promotion of events (virtual and in-person)

• Coordinate with the European Handshake marketing team to localize content and campaigns for the German market

Desired Capabilities

• Enrolled as a student at a university in Germany (Bachelor’s or Master’s program)

• Strong interest in marketing, communications, or related fields

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English

• Creative mindset with attention to detail

• Hands-on mentality and willingness to take initiative

• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends

• Previous internship, working student experience, or relevant project work in marketing is a plus
